So, clearly the way to deal with my frustration is to write fic. Or a drabble, rather. Someone said that presumably Miracle Day was set 'during the hiatus', so between AGMGTW and LKH. This was where my mind took me... (I mean, the two are pretty incompatible, despite supposedly being set in the same verse, but if.)

So, life is sort-of kind-of back to normal. And... I wrote a drabble! Maybe it should have been a ficlet, because 100 words restricts everything, but I think it just about works. And I don't have time for anything more...

I want to write. I need to write! But since my computer time is chopped up into tiny little bits, with children constantly saying "Why are you always on the computer mum?", I cannot write. So instead I'll just re-post some of my buffy_love stuff.

These are 6 (semi-) interconnected drabbles, focussing on Buffy during the time span of AtS S5 (non-shippy, follow canon very closely). Putting them all in one post, hope you don't mind.

Hello! I'm still here, just in lurker mode. Hopefully I'll get round to a 'proper' update at some point!

Our S1 re-watch is continuing - don't have much to say about 'The Pack' except NB is very good and the big difference between Hyena!Xander and ordinary being-a-jackass-Xander lies in the fact that Xander can do/say awful things, but they're usually in reaction to something else or he's lashing out because he's hurting. Xander doesn't do caluculated cruelty.

Watched 'Angel' last night and DB must have been getting some acting lessons, because he's very watchable. And of course Darla finally gets interesting before they kill her off... (how I love this 'verse where characters never stay dead!). Not many thoughts, but what there were decided to turn into a little 250 word drabble set near the end (sort of a FitB I suppose, not that anything happens):

This is just a little something that's been sat in a folder for far, far too long. Possibly started as a delayed birthday fic, I'm not sure. Anyway, it's not quite Sparla, but as close as I'll probably ever get (Set sometime after the Boxer rebellion stuff). Only a drabble, but I hope you like it. :)
