Having just read the latest S8 travesty, though, I so agree. You know, it takes something quite special to not only keep up that level of crack, but to continually better it!
And I have quite a few clever icon makers on my flist - I'm hoping one of them will take pity on me! *g*
See the bad crack is why I wrote s8 out of my now meager comic budget. I just can't stand seeing the characters abused that way.
I get my crack from DC which occasionally has some cracktacularly good story lines. The Superman/Batman (yes there really is a slash in the title, yes there is enough UST to require it.) issue where Superman gets stoned on silver cryptonite is a recent favorite. It had no bearing on the rest of the storyline of that arc. It was fabulous.
ps: I haven't read the newest A:AtF, so please no references.

ETA: Do you think that maybe you could make one with bankrobbing!Buffy, centaur!Dawn, Xander/Dracula and future!Willow getting killed by Buffy? Although there's of course also skinless!Warren, Twilight!Riley, Castle Anthrax, flying monkeys... Might be a bit much. ;) (Don't mind me, I'm just over here patching my head back together.)
