Then some fun links: Here is the Tom Cruise Scientology video, and here's a parody. I told my parents (who just left this morning btw. We had a lovely time!) about these videos, and my father decided that he'd like to see them, so I found them for him. When he'd finished the first one, I asked if he'd like to watch the parody also. He looked at me, rather confusedly, and said, "But... I thought that was the parody! Are you telling me that was *real*?" Says it all, I think. *g*
To be honest I'm rather impressed with Tom Cruise. I don't think I've ever heard anyone talk so much and say so little. Seriously - I think I know *less* about Scientology after watching than I did before. That's impressive. (Also there's the fact that he doesn't appear to be able to string a coherent sentence together, but then maybe Scientology isn't fond of grammar?)
