Because I love you all!

Today is a good day! First of all it is hesadevil's birthday - may you have a *fabulous* day dear, with lots and lots of Spikey goodness! *hugs*

Secondly it is my 3 year LJ anniversary! It feels like so much more... or rather my life pre-LJ seems a strange and fuzzy thing, like it was in black-and-white. It is quite simply not possible to put into words how much you have all enriched my life!

Funny how things can change - back then I thought slash icky, didn't have a clue about Doctor Who (some guy with a long scarf?), and worried that I wouldn't have anything to say...

And well - this is post #1,127! So, because those worries still make me laugh, today I'm going to do my best to prove that I can't shut up and spam you all (in a probably misguided attempt to say thank you to you all for being so wonderful) - I've been working on lots of different little things, and I think there should be something for everyone!

And then I'll go away and work on the stuff I *should* be writing! Promise. (This is of course presuming that you are interested in me at all. But then you've stuck with me for this long... *g*)

Meta: Angel in 'School Hard'.

So, I watched School Hard on Spike's birthday, and then (thank you molly_may for the link - I’ve read it before, but couldn’t remember where) read this very excellent review by Alira.

She’s rather scathing towards Angel, and towards the end has this to say (I’d question the ‘trustworthy’ part myself! *g*):

Buffy learns that Spike’s playful, resourceful, quippy, trustworthy, and very very good at fighting. That in his way, he's honourable. That he's easily bored and can't keep to a plan. That he's a good dancer. :)

What she doesn't learn is that Angel is basically useless. :)
( So, is Angel useless? Well here are *my* thoughts. )

And here is the final part of my BtVS/Pern crack!fic. I've been tinkering for days now, and it's not getting any more finished. (That doesn't mean that it's any good, sadly.) Previous parts here.

Just two points:

1) Pern!Spike is (in most ways) very, VERY different from canon!Spike.
2) I am evil devious! *g*
