Seriously though... Um... Afraid there is no 'seriously'. I obviously must care on *some* level, because I'm making this post, but mostly I'm just wishing Joss would back away and let my dear slayers & vampires rest in peace. Dunno what they did to deserve this.

Anyway, what amuses me most of all is this:

Allie promised that Whedon had plans to reconcile both versions to make a cohesive Buffyverse. "I talked to Chris [Ryall] at IDW last night, and I'm going to talk to him today to reassure him that it all connects and it's all going to jibe. That's one thing we wanted to reassure him of and to make clear. This isn't going to be some big conflict with the IDW continuity. It's all going to be made to work."

So *now* they care about continuity?

Shame about the unrecognisable characters...

(I feel I ought to have something else to say, but... I just don't care. Presuming, of course, that it's not an early April-fools joke. *shrugs*)

I liked After the Fall (and have the comm to prove it! *g*), and *loved* Asylum, Shadowpuppets and Spike: AtF. Otherwise... not my cup of tea. But I'm glad that there are people out there who enjoy the story. I hope I've not harshed your squee too much. I just can't help mocking, sorry.

Oh no, you haven't. Not a problem on the mocking. Sometimes I read some of the Buffy 8 and go... WTF? I'm very interested to know how this will work out in continuity. I didn't get shadow puppets or asylum yet, and I probably should... but yeah, AtF - Angel and Spike, both were awesome. And actually, now that I think about it.. I can kinda see where Aftermath may end up leading towards season 8 Buffy... kindof.

Oh you really really should! Shadow Puppets is fun, but Aslum is probably the best comic I've read so far (out of all the BtVS/AtS ones). Very dark, but absolutely excellent.

And actually, now that I think about it.. I can kinda see where Aftermath may end up leading towards season 8 Buffy... kindof.
