Good Omens-y things

[personal profile] magnavox_23 posted loads of beautiful icons (Doctor Who, Our Flag Means Death, What We Do In The Shadows (tv), Staged, Sherlock, What We Do In The Shadows (movie), The Mandalorian, Good Omens, The Last of Us, Flight of the Conchords.) MANY SPOILERS

~
And voting is now open for TV Choice Magazine's Awards. ETA: Very UK centric. *g*

There are many many categories and I realised just how little mainstream TV I watch...

Yup. I'm going to have get rid of two of them soon - MAX and Disney, I think. Anything that doesn't have added benefits and I don't watch more than two shows on. It's hard to keep track. I've lost track of how many there are.

Same. I refuse to pay for AMC + or Peacock or Showtime, Epix, Cinemax...sigh. It goes on and on and on. Cable was frankly easier.

Oh that option does exist, actually. Itunes and Google Play both offer that. It's how I was able to see WIRE episodes that weren't available on DVD. You can also rent movies that way. Multiple platforms offer that.
It's how greenmai was watching Doctor Who, I think.

Ah, the one on Hulu. Yeah, I lost interest in that after S2, but my co-worker adores it.

I think it's available on either DVD or Itunes. I may be wrong - not sure who owns it.

Yup, shows live or die by their characters for me as well. I didn't like the characters, they irritated me. ;-)

It was also the format - I can't stand watching people talking to me through screens. That irritates me. I couldn't watch the other documentary show format sitcoms that folks loved either. Occasional talking to the screen doesn't bother me, but a sustained talking to me through the screen does. I have the camera turned off during all Teams and Zoom meetings at work, and if others have theirs on, I won't look at them.

I disliked the Office, Parks and Recreation, etc for the same reasons.

It was really only one and a half. I did find segments of it hilarious - such as the film crew getting eaten or left in the well at the end of season 1.
