Wood sculptor Ole Jakob Nielsen gives us a rare insight into the soul of trees, from his home in the Faroe Islands - a totally treeless country.
Beautiful 14 minute documentary. And yes, it's from the Faroes, and yes I know Ole-Jakob. I have visited his little Hobbit hole and we have one of his lamp shades (a wedding present). 😊

Today was a nice day. I bought myself new boots (because my old favourite pair are literally falling apart) and they were delivered yesterday. Aren't they gorgeous? And I paid far less for them than that site charges. :)
And then - due to the COLD WEATHER that's being forecast - I bit the bullet and bought a new winter coat. I picked the yellow/golden one and it's so warm and pretty!
I generally hate shopping (and omg everything is so expensive /o\) so they both better last many years. ^_^
