Things that cheer me. :)

One reason I'm able to be quite aloof re. the s8 train wreck is probably Doctor Who. Because we're [FINALLY] getting a new season, and there's even a countdown website: ISITMOFFTIEMNAO?

ETA: Since some people don't follow things as closely as me, some old (but still good) news: Neil Gaiman to write Doctor Who ep!

And then there's stuff like this [from the latest DWM Production Notes], where Stephen Moffat talks about Matt Smith's clumsiness (he has previously described him as 'walking like a drunk giraffe'):
