Why yes I split the ending *again*. The last part is actually very nearly done (will post later today or tomorrow), but it really will benefit from being its own chapter. (Chapter 1 here if anyone feels like making my day and read this story.) Oh, and this chapter is oddly appropriate for More Joy Day - you'll see why!*g*

Setting: 2027 (AU post-S3 of DW)
Summary: It's Christmas, but the rift doesn't care about peace and goodwill. (Angsty, meta-heavy & OC-centric - I seem to have hit on the perfect recipe for alienating readers...)

Today is More Joy Day, and ('cause I've got nothing else) I bring you recs. Two vids for the Buffy fans, two fics for the DW fans. I hope you enjoy!

And then I uploaded a video for you, since I couldn't find it online (if anyone knows the vidder, please let me know): Memories. It is Buffy's speech in 'Prophecy Girl', with the music from 'The Gift', and using clips from all 7 seasons. It is quite simply *gorgeous* and you should ALL download it! (It's only 7 MB, everyone has space for that.)

Dancing at the Sugar Shack is one of the most delightful Who fics I have ever read. Short and fabulous and wholeheartedly recommended!

Memory Lane, Aydrdoon Valley by kattahj is a very different sort of story - long and plotty and very, very satisfying. Summary: The Doctor and Donna bring Jack and Ianto along for a holiday, but as usual, the holiday is anything but relaxing - especially for Jack.

Mostly I just want to say thank you to all you lovely people out there, who bring me joy every single day just by being there! *squishes you all*
