elisi: Edwin holding a tiny snowman (heroes by sdwolfpup)
Today is extra special, because it's the birthday of my very first LJ friend - the person who sucked me into fandom with her sweetness, Spuffy love and wonderful, incredible, clever posts: [livejournal.com profile] the_royal_anna! So (since I'm supposed to be taking it easy and all that), I've been making a couple of little things for you. Firstly I believe you have something for certain men in doorways, so I figured this might make a nice little greeting:

I hope you have a wonderful day with all sorts of goodies, and that the coming year will be full of lovely things. ::hugs:: and ::smooches::

(Oh - and the quote on the icon is from the Simpsons. Doctor Nick Riviera to be precise.)

But - I have more... a very tiny little plotbunny hopped my way recently, resulting in the following birthday fic. I'm sorry that it's not particularly brilliant, but at least it might make you smile. It's a AtS/Doctor Who crossover, set sometime post-'The Doctor Dances'. (Oh and I guess it's in the 'Maybe Someday' verse - that's post-NFA - since Illyria can open portals, but that's not really important). Not spoilery for anything, I think... Many hugs to [livejournal.com profile] lillianmorgan for betaing this last night! :)

I hope you enjoy!

Well, it seems like today is the day... ::crosses fingers::

Will probably be going to the Birth Centre in not too long, so wish me luck! For updates/news check [livejournal.com profile] lillianmorgan's LJ!

That's what I get for making big 'I'm outta here!' posts... everything sorted, bags by the door, children off to grandparents and then - nothing.

::grumbles::

Nature sure has a way of making you look forward to all that pain, eh?

Thank you for all your lovely comments btw. I'm feeling all coddled and looked after.

Might just go do some skipping like Darcy keeps suggesting. I want my baby, not sitting around like a lemon. ::sigh::

(Turning off comments, because whining doesn't really deserve a response. And *hopefully* I can have a happier update at some point.)
