Gatsby trailer

This trailer is ridiculously gorgeous. (Watch it in full screen! Seriously.) The thing is, I don't expect the movie to be as brilliant as the trailer makes out, but that doesn't dent my appreciation one bit. This is... like a vid. A stunning, enchanting vid.

I reread the book recently, and I'm cautiously optimistic re: the movie.

I was reading casting spoilers, and realized I couldn't remember which character was Daisy. It's a pretty quick read, and I suspect I got more from the story and from the writing as an adult than I did at 15 or 16!

If you have an ereader I have it in kindle format (mobi) if you'd like. Pretty sure it's out of copyright so it's also here at project gutenberg.

Let me know! I can either email or upload somewhere

And I know what you mean about too many books being disorganized! It's the main reason I got a kindle actually.

I can't find my complete Shakespeare at the moment (I want to check something) so I know what you mean. And that book probably weighs more than my cousin's new baby; how do you even loose a book that size? It's a puzzle!

I heard about Ender's Game! Harrison Ford's involved. I need to reread that one too. OSC is as crazy as it gets IMO but I don't remember the crazy being as obnoxious in the earlier books. At least I hope not. I was pretty young when I read that one (and I loved that book so hard!), and I might have just missed it. Now I'm a little worried!

I've only seen a few random episodes of Merlin, but I just recently watched Hugo. He is a good actor for a child; this should be fun!

I read a least a couple of the sequels, and I've read a couple of his other books. I like the set up of his "Alvin Maker" series, and enjoyed the first couple books but dude just kept bringing more and more of the crazy. I tried to reread those a couple years ago and realized that there was more of the crazy even in the earlier books than I remembered. But I'm hoping you're right about Ender!
