Don't like the comics, full stop. (Essay here, quick runthrough here. Or just follow the tag.) Don't care whose it is, although Angel might be the worst choice, considering his arc in the comics so far. (If I think too much about what the comics have done to him, I will cry. So I tend to ignore them. My darling, darling, Angel.)

I don't like the BtVS comics either but I am enjoying the AtS ones tremendously. This arc (it's him and Faith) includes Dru, apparently. And Connor will be arriving soon. So I'm good with it. After the Fall kicked ass.

Year gestation period? (Hey, not the most ridiculous thing in the comic, so I'm not dismissing the idea.)

Although, to be perfectly honest, it doesn't matter who the Daddy may be. Drunken party knock-up-who's-the-Daddy plot is ridiculous regardless.

Oh, I have no idea. I don't follow the BtVS comics at all, so I do not know the timeline? I just know they had sex at some point.

The plot is way less than Buffy deserves. But then, I've thought that since the end of S5, so. *hands*

I read the Angel comics. They were AWESOME for a while there! Now they're still way more solid than the BtVS ones. Plus, Dru and Connor! Whee.

I think that's the perfect dose of essence of Buffy. And something about that picture from Blood Ties sent me straight off to re-watch, because it's such a look.

I love so much that she is all of this and yet you look in her eyes and you can always, always see how much it costs her. She might have Slayer going for her, but she earns "strong". And how. :)

Because so much yes. I didn't actually have a gif of her kicking him, but I also wanted something to show how, whilst she has the strength to fight off her demons (even when they have the face of an Angel), she is also capable of reaching out, of finding strength in the most unexpected of places, and of trusting that, and herself, enough. Being strong isn't just about power, it's about being able to rely on others.
