so glad you liked them. What was Miss M's reaction? you know how things were for me back then; I didn't even check who the guests were at Armadacon, bu tnot omly did I meet the REAL Davros :-) - Ben Morris proved to be a genuinely nice (almost, dare I say it, in a Roryish - as did Terry Malloy for that matter - way) guy, and was only too willing to help me with the presents, the idea for which formed whilst he was answering questions.
He couldn't use anything he'd done before for Who, because the BBC automatically owns all the rights to those, but i thought you could use them for icons.
My Fam got me th Fifth series as a pressie; i also got an Ella Fitzgerald Double CD/Comic Book; and my nephew made me a Glasgow City calendar :-)
Ooh, and a certaim Scandinavian Yorkshire lassie, got me a Bobbie Gentry double CD, including the album; which if you'll remember was nicked, but more appropriately contained the my all-time favourite song, which I re-found on the weekend which started the greatest turnaround EVER in a year I've ever had!
PLUS, and this trumps even that pressie... my niece Hazel, who lives in Kent has just told us all she's pregnant, after many, many months of trying.
Best. Christmas. Ever.
As I said back at the end of October - Life? Sometimes She likes to remind you that She's worth knowing.
Thank you so much for making me grateful to be alive. We may even have succeeded in turning my nephew onto Who, at least the fifth season version anyway.
so glad you liked them. What was Miss M's reaction? They're BRILLIANT! And Miss M sends her thanks - I've assured her that when she's old enough to have an LJ of her own (or facebook or whatever), her picture can have pride of place! :) For now we're going to put it on her laptop (very old and slow, but handy for writing on) as her wallpaper. (She keeps randomly going 'OMG!' - it's great!)
