Just wanted to say that all the growly/snarky posts on my flist about 'Soulgate' (is that the official term now?) is warming the cockles of my Spike-loving heart! :)

(Also, I've actually written Spike-loses-his-soul-fic - for the second summer_of_spike - so I feel all nostalgic too... aw, fic clichés. Except mine was good!)

I have some thoughts:

1. Your Spike-loses-his-soul story? Never has been a cliche, never will be. I love that story.

2. "I Can Change" is one of my all-time fav vids. It is saved forever onto my hard drive, my external back-up drive and a disc. I must have it to enjoy always!

3. I've completely missed 'Soulgate.' Probably for the best. *g*

I must be really behind on my comics.. that's what I get for the cheapest delivery from TFAW... not a clue what soulgate is. Though I definitely knew about the twilight stupidity before I got my comics.

Ah. Even worse! Leaks! Eh.. crazy people. I've enjoyed the Angel storyline.. though it totally makes no sense in the Buffy season 8 universe.. and I was great with the Buffy one up until "we have sex and destroy the universe/create a new one" storyline, which I was very glad to see that even Buffy afterwards reacted to that one in the same way that the readers did..

Knowing absolutely nothing about the comics, and only hearing whisperings about this "soulgate" thing today, I gotta say, this sounds more than a bit like a cop-out to deal with piss-poor characterization. *shrugs* At the very least, its further solidifying my already pretty damn solid decision to stay far far away from the comics. I was so for them all initially, but then they turned out to be horribly written, and I just couldn't stick around. Pity.
