So... for the first time in forever I actually got hold of a copy of [the latest issue of] s8. And I thought I knew what to expect. I didn't. Clearly I've been repressing, because OMG IT IS SO UGLY THAT I COULD CRY! Just utterly, utterly HIDEOUS and HORRIBLE, and how can ANYONE think this is canon? The show was so *pretty*, even when it was bad. Ugh.

ETA: Also, you should read The Five Stages of Buffy Season 8! :)

And what a freakishly awesome icon you have! There just aren't enough "BlackAdder II" icons and crossovers around (and that's my favorite of the four series, even though it suffers from a shortage of Hugh Laurie until the last episode).

I love the Five Stages post. Hee! I bounce between denial (as in I deny that the comics exist at all) and acceptance (because with that comes fun penguin fic). Either way, it obviously has no connection to the show we watched and loved.
