First of all, John Barrowman singing Copacabana on Jonathan Ross.

Because it cheered me. :) I'm slowly catching up on stuff - still haven't watched Being Human f.ex. - and trying to get back into things. Parental visit went well (hurrah they're gone! The house is mine once more!), but RL is just BUSY and TIRING at the moment, so LJ interaction is still sporadic I'm afraid.

Re. s8 then I've come to realise that my attitude towards it is pretty much exactly the same as my attitude towards Twilight (the SMeyer one): grab popcorn, disengage brain, enjoy the crack. I honestly couldn't care less what happens to anyone - my ideal ending would be Rocks Fall, Everyone Dies, but Joss won't go there, so... *shrugs*

Which reminds me, beer_good_foamy has a brilliant new theory about how it'll all end. (Spoilers for EoT, since it involves all sorts of crossovers!)

There was more, I think, but I have to go again... ETA: My icon reminded me! One of the great flaws of s8 is its lack of adorableness. Xander/Dracula is pretty much the only instance, which is probably why I love that pairing so, despite the fact that is doesn't make a blind bit of sense.

True story, my staff at my old store used to serenade me with that song to keep it stuck in my head. I had that ear worm for at least a couple months.
