Re. the whole Twilight reveal, and Spike's role...

Bascially I'm hoping they keep him a million miles away from s8. He's got his own series, right? Let him mess around there. Let him marry Beck, or Spider, or Betta George, or something.

(How much would I love for someone to say: "Don't you dare phone him, he's on his honeymoon!" *deep sigh*)

Seriously - don't involve him in the trainwreck. Not that I'm going to be reading, but I was fond of that blond guy once upon a time, y'know? He deserves better than to be destroyed by the s8pocalypse.

the part of me who is trying to come up with plausible reason with why he is ruining my Woobie, keeps thinking that if the Slayers came after Conner and Spike (because even Betta George ships them)that would give Angel motivation.


THIS. I had the same thought. I am in fear now that Connor and/or Spike are dead, and I don't want them dead. Even in pretend!canon!

I like the concept of 'pretend!canon!' :)

And - I kinda hate saying this - but I'd almost be happy if Spike and/or Connor were dead, because I think Joss is incapable of killing off main characters, and I'd like to be proved wrong.

(And Angel fighting Buffy because someone killed Spike? Oh, that would make my shippy heart happy; albeit in a very, very twisted way. *sigh*)

This is all very annoying, to be honest, and I feel like we're back in S2...

Oh - by the way! Did you see my 'Between Canon' stories? They're like FitBs to 'My Immortal': Not Fade Away (VERY short) and The Year That Never Was (VERY long!). In case you're short of reading material...

Mine, too. But of course, Joss would never write that. Though he might possibly write Angel fighting Buffy because a slayer killed Connor, but the idea of Connor dead just makes me sad. I liked Angel's happy ending, dammit! Why can't they leave my woobies alone?

If you posted those fics over the holidays, then I probably did not see them. I shall check them out!

I think I posted them while you were away. It's a while ago anyway, and I've just forgotten to mention them - also you're a very busy lady!

I will admit that I'm torn, since I don't want them even pretend!dead either, but I don't want Angel's complete character assassination either.
