Sarah Jane.

I wouldn't say that I'm a SJA fan, since the show isn't dark enough to hold my interest, but the girls love it and I tend to half-watch along with them. And the kids *are* cute.

Of course this week I'm glued to the telly! :) DoctorDoctorDoctorDoctorDoctor! I am STARVED for Doctoryness! And the ep was very lovely indeed. Mr Smith and K-9 snarking at each other was fab (although I could have done without the girls repeating every single line!), and I loved Suspicious!Clyde, and Rani doing pretty much anything (she does Evil Glares beautifully) - and her parents are a HOOT! *loves Ghita (sp?) ENTIRELY too much*

I'm only a TINY bit grumply that SJA got a full 3rd season, and a visit from the Doctor, and Torchwood didn't, but... *deep breath* COE was AMAZING, so I'll try not to be bitter. *resolve face*

Yes - not a series I watch, but great episode this afternoon! As you say Rani's parents are great!

(I used to have a mini crush on Nigel Havers!)

I know! I'm sorta of "Can we skip from Ten being on SJA straight to Eleven please?" I'm sorta terrified RTD is going to pull a doozy in the worst way and make me hate Ten sometime in the last two specials. Or retcon the Time War or the Master is some way that will frustrate me. That I excited about Moffat as show runner.

Oh I don't *hate* RTD. He's done some awesome stuff. I'm just, um, done with his writing flaws? Now, COE, in my opinion, did not have most of them, it was tight.

I actually like SJA a whole heck of lot. I think, if anything, Doctor Who's problem is RTD wants it be *both* angsty as hell and have a happy ending. There are ways to do that, but he won't let Ten learn and grow, and actually face his flaws. So it's just frustrating. More frustrating then Angel's and Buffy's tepflon epiphanies. That's my take.

I'm really enjoying the SJA (my girls love it and it's one of the few of their programmes that I don't mind watching). Added Ten is even more of a bonus.

I adore SJA. I love Sarah Jane, and the show is just fun. It's usually really well written, and there have been several outstanding episodes. I'd compare "Whatever happened to Sarah Jane" from season one for example favorable to anything TW season one did.

I haven't had time to watch the current episodes yet (they're waiting for my next day off, so sunday...) but I'm looking forward. I adored the Judoon captain from the first episode beyond reason!

But I'm so looking forward to the Doctor. I miss the Doctor! I'm a more than little nervous about the coming specials too. My RTD love know no bounds, but I hear rumor he's going to kill my doctor! :D

I like all the character on SJA. I disliked all the TW characters-- even Jack-- by the end of season one of TW. I clearly remember asking myself why the hell I was still watching! I can take characters who do stupid, selfish things if thy have motivations that make sense-- season one made NO sense.

Fortunately season two was better, and COE rocked. I have several friends who watched COE and then rented the DVDs of season one-- universal complaint is "WTF"?? :D
