I don't read RPF. It's a genre that quite simply does nothing for me. HOWEVER, sam_storyteller wrote this, and I will be forever grateful:

What'd ye mean subtitles. That's clear as muck, that is! My girls aren't quite that broad, but some bits - like 'e wus jumpin' abaht! and it's funneh, int'i'? are quite close. :)

I was just thinking that one of the interesting things about the internet is the way you "know" people you've never heard talk! It occurred to me that in my brain you sound like a pacific northwesterner (you know, with no accent! :D ) and in real life you probably sound more like some combination of that little girl and a scandinavian accent.

It's just kind of an odd thought!

ETA: Although we also lived in London for 3 years, and then in York for 3 years (Yorkshire, but 'posh'), so my accent is ALL OVER THE PLACE!
