Much a-squee about something...
Sorry I've been so lazy with the updating, but spending long days with little children isn't very good for my creativity. They've mostly been lovely though (and so has the weather!) so this isn't a complaint! I've managed to write the next chapter of 'Maybe Someday' in between everything else, but it was very slow and awkward and does need an insane amount of editing before it can be posted.
But - right now I'm getting more and more excited because the wonderful
lillianmorgan is coming to visit me over the weekend. ::bounces:: It's even more exciting since she'll be the first LJ-person I'll ever meet in person. :) Prepare for long rambly posts come monday...

Also started reading two new WIPs. Ten Years After by
curiouswombat (Speakr's wife) is a Dawn-centric fic that speculates on how her life turned out ten years after Sunnydale. Have a look, it'll be worth your while!
frimfram has just started posting her first fic (although she is ridiculously accomplished and she writes absolutely beautifully) The Other Side of the Tracks. It's Spike and Dru just after his turning, with a promise of Arthur Conan Doyle in future chapters! Just go read!

And I *love* summer - I don't like it too hot, but I'll take it over rain and chill any day. Only now of course half my clothes don't fit...
Little Miss M is 6 1/2 and in Year 1. School doesn't actually stop until the end of July - this is just their summer-halfterm. Impish Girl is 3, but will be 4 on the 19th! Must plan party...
