I love Edward.
Edward Sexby I should maybe clarify! ;) Short clip here from the very beginning, for anyone curious.
I can't wait until tomorrow, but on the other hand I don't want it to end! *clings* (I've not written anything in the way of reviews about The Devil's Whore, but it's a brilliant and utterly compelling piece of TV. If it's released on DVD I'm very, very tempted to buy it!)

anagraphic is probably the darkest and most heartbreaking Torchwood vid I've ever seen, but I still think you should all go watch it, because it is excellent!
(It is possible that there was something else I was going to say, but I've forgotten it. See you later!)

Angelica: Sexby - I could never love you!
Sexby: *HEART BREAKS*
Me: Could this POSSIBLY be more perfect?
*happy sigh*
(Also, the actors are all just *amazing*. Why can't there be more stuff like this on TV? /rhetorical question)

The only other UK drama I'm watching right know other than this is Apparitions, the rest is crap.

*nods* Also I'm very impressed with how *real* it feels, it all (well most of it) looks lived in, rather than staged.

Oh I've been wondering if anyone else on my flist was watching Apparitions - I'm woefully behind (thank goodness for iPlayer), but it's a very impressive drama. Esp for managing to be very balanced and fairly correct in its portrayal of Catholic teaching. TV getting theology (mostly) right? Wonders will never cease.

Can't comment on the Catholic correctness of Apparitions, but I do enjoy stories that occupy that world even though I'm an atheist. Must have added demons, of course.

It does rather, which is lovely. :)
I love it when the cinematography is daying something too.
Same here. And it's nice to see that it's been planned and thought about, rather than someone just pointing a camera any which way.

I think that is what makes good TV - a show anyone can enjoy, but that doesn't make people familiar with the world in question want to throw things at the TV. (This happens depressingly often.)
