I *so* shouldn't be here, but...
DB on Graham Norton! "He's no angel, and I'd like to jump his bones..." Youtube is a wonderful thing - enjoy! :) At least watch the first few minutes - remember the beginning of 'She'? ::dies::
And then there's the preview of issue 10 of s8! And... I really rather liked it!
First of all I feel like pointing out that when I first read it (at the crack of dawn) I was still half-asleep and didn't twig that it wasn't Jeanty doing the artwork. I was just amazed at the fact that not only did Daniel Craig look perfectly like himself, but Buffy even looked utterly Buffy-like, and in more than one panel! (Willow looks odd though, and Xander has acquired cheekbones, but what the hey... Dawn even looks like Dawn. I ::heart:: this artist.)
Anyway, the first few pages amused me greatly - because I suddenly realised that Daniel Craig looks a *lot* like Riley! Thing is, I don't fancy Riley at all, but Daniel Craig really is rather hot... he's like a scruffy, sexy, dangerous Riley. So - the fantasy makes *perfect* sense: Daniel Craig = Riley = acceptable, nice boyfriend. As in, the part of herself that Buffy is willing to show others. Willow of course calls her on it, saying that the whole thing is a little generic, but I can guarantee that there's no way Buffy would ever admit that what she *really* wants is a kinky threesome with Spike and Angel! *g*
Seriously, this is the most fun, entertaining and in-character the comic has been so far! (Still not sure about the whole flying thing, but at least it's made a beautiful cover.)
Finally, before I run away - what sort of person calls their child 'Flossie'? I mean, how can you do that? (There is a childrens' story time thing at the library, and one little girl was called Flossie. My mind, it boggles.) ETA: Apparently it could be short for 'Florence', which would make sense. I hope that's it!
ETA2: Dear Kathy, thank you so much for the pretty card! *hugs*

If you're really, really lucky, you'll get yours before Christmas...
So did I. Mind you I didn't hate the Faith arc, just the artwork.
I didn't hate the Faith arc (it was a *lot* better than TLWH), but I had... issues.
The cover of this one is just to die for and I'm keen to know what the deal with Dawn actually is. I think I'm almost looking forward to this one!
Same here. Strange, huh?
Apparently some of these Victorian names are coming back
Well Darcy was very keen on giving The Cherub 'Capability' as a middle name, but I vetoed it. :)
