Changed my layout. Partly the pink was getting a bit much, and partly I really needed a Doctor banner... This is not the one I'd ideally use (because my favourite one is rather spoilery), but this one is v. lovely all the same. (It is so incredible to have a shiny new show to delve into... it took three years, but suddenly it started hitting all the buttons that BtVS/AtS used to - in its very own way of course. I never thought that would ever happen again, so I am very grateful. Only now I have 26 seasons to catch up on... Oh and did I mention the breaking of my heart? 'Cause damn!)

Re. LJ de-friending people at random - if I de-friended anyone, just e-mail me and I'll friend you right back, OK? :)

And I need some help. *looks hopeful* Our copy of 'Mere Christianity' has disappeared. Just vanished. So I was wondering if there was anyone out there with a copy who'd be willing to look up a quote for me?

I was sure there was something else, but I'm drawing a blank...

I need to buy it again, too. My copy is all marked up with pen. I hate buying used books, only to get them home and discover that the previous reader couldn't read without underlining and circling every other word.

Oh dear. Our copy was a cheap and cheerful paperback, but it really has vanished. And I can never find interesting used books... which might of course have something to do with the sorts of bookshops/markets we have around here.

All I can say is http://www.abebooks.com. One Christmas, papa_sierra got nothing but out-of-print books he'd been yearning for. I'm sure my family thought I was an incredible cheapskate, but Papa was thrilled.
