You are probably all aware of this already, but just in case, here's some links!
A vigilante group 'Warriors for Innocence' is going around Livejournal, trolling and reporting users/communities with hot button terms listed as interests (like "rape", "incest" and "pedophilia". They are also apparently trolling through userpics) and getting the users/communities suspended. (Might not be just them, btw. But they do appear to be at the center!)

liz_marcs wrote them a letter and they wrote back (included is her response to them).

pornish_pixies here, including a letter from LJ (you wanna bitch at someone, bitch at 6A - LJ is just caught in the crossfire and trying not to get sued. *sigh*).

This is the problem I've got with vigilante justice. They're so damn proud and justified in their own minds that they don't stop to see the whole picture.
I checked out their site, in which they expressed no regret and no responsibility for the innocent (heh) sites that were deleted as well.
I really wish there was a way to hold them accountable for this. If a police officer fired into a crowd of people and hit a bunch of bystanders as well as the suspect, you can bet that officer wouldn't be commended.
