Did Trans books even exist back then? And how the hell does she even know?

Sigh. I think JLR kind of went nuts when she got famous? It's made it kind of hard to care about anything she says or read anything she writes any longer. (Got rid of my Harry Potter books and DVDs ages ago for lack of space more than anything else.)

I admittedly know nothing about the history of trans. Although not at all surprised that the Nazi's burned books about them, they burned pretty much everything that didn't promote their own fascist ego-centric world view and trans like homosexual would go against that. I am surprised that people published transgender works that far back - that's kind of reassuring in a way, I honestly didn't think people were all that open-minded back then.

Thanks for the links and references.
