Fannish things
My flist informs me that Festivids is live. :) From a swift glance, I think I can safely say that Everything Everywhere All At Once is the most popular choice (and quite rightly so).

Another petition, this time for the NHS:
Immediate action by Government to address crisis in NHS
ETA: Well this is uncomfortably accurate...

ETA2: On the BBC now:
Forgotten Heroes of the Covid Front Line
Catherine Burns meets NHS workers who are living with long Covid and struggling to return to work. They now face the prospect of having to retire early or even being sacked.

We watched the first episode of Andor last night. It was... okay? Considering that we had to pay for Disney+ we should keep watching, or it'll be the most expensive TV episode we've ever watched. *g* Of course everyone's been raving about it, so I shall 'look to like, if looking liking move'. It certainly looks beautiful.
(I also need to finish watching the Fourth Doctor, although I'm now in Season 18 and the quality has magically improved and Tom Baker is ACTING OMG, rather than just doing a Doctor bit.)

But, yeah, and pretty much everything from Full Circle on has a lot of stuff going on - you've re-achieved CHristopher H Bidmead! (You were watching it sort of in order in era, but backwards by Doctor, yes? )

He is endless and forever. ;) And yeah, he is very good, but there is SO MUCH.
my DW rewatches tend to go... 1960s, start the 1970s and give up and eventually go back to An Unearthly Child to start again.
LOL. I have watched the first few One episodes and they are lovely indeed.

Very true! Good things come to those who wait, or something like that.

Yes I am. I am impressed you remember!

You don't even understand yet. But one day you will . . . *sigh*
I NEED TO STOP.

But we fixed that issue by mainlining the Classic show in the interim!
That said, Doctor Who fans are the worst and I am heartily ashamed.

It was tongue-in-cheek, but there was a definite worry. *g*

Rather. Waaaay down the rabbit hole.

You're still a way off having a fullsize Dalek in your hallway.

No dalek, but I do have all the obstinate opinions, which is far worse *g*

But, like, I'm in physical pain over here. My favorite part of what she has left is ALL OF IT. Well, expect any time Three went into space. But all the rest of it was amazeballs.

Yes.. one day she will
come back! Until then there must be no regretsunderstand. x]no subject

LOL, it is a pretty unique approach between you and

One more episode and I'm through - and then comes Three!

Very well, we shall both be improper. ;)

(Gaudy Night fans may be even worse than Doctor Who fans, only there are far fewer of us, so the world doesn't know that yet?)
Four was my first Doctor, bar the single episode of The Time Monster I walked in on my dad watching when I was … two or three? (Which much later I worked out must have been episode 3, because, well, Doctor Who fans.)

LOL! And surely we are more erudite...

And I didn't even know the show existed until I came to the UK.

LOL @ this wording. It really do feel that way, tho. I have made it through the wilderness and arrived again at Bidmead and all is well.

My favourite quote about Doctor Who is this one:
'Watch enough Doctor Who and your favourite character becomes the Doctor and your favourite Doctor becomes the Doctor.'
Which is very true, but I think we all have 'our' Doctor(s) even so. <3

Nothing beats your first Doctor!! Also I was fine through the first couple of years, it was S16 and 17 that did me in. ;) But I am THISCLOSE to being done.

It's way too apt...

I think the issue I have with all these prequels is that there’s no jeopardy- you know they are going to survive. I hated Obi Wan for the same reason.

LOL. I'll see how I get on. It's very nicely made, but I hope it picks up...

That is a good point. I've not watched any others, because I've never been that invested in Star Wars. Well I love the movies, and adored TLJ, but never been interested in the wider verse.
