Movies
Yesterday we watched Glass Onion (it is now on Netflix! <3) and it was just as wonderful as Knives Out, if not more. We need a Benoit Blanc mystery every year, please and thank you.
And then tonight we went to the cinema to watch Violent Night, which can best be described as a cross between Home Alone and Die Hard, but starring Santa, and winning on all fronts. Funny, violent, and also very Christmassy, with genuinely touching moments.
ETA: We came out of the cinema feeling SO CHRISTMASSY, we have all agreed that it's going to be a yearly staple and we need to get the DVD.
Recommending both wholeheartedly. :)

I thought GO seemed much shorter than over two hours. Always a good recommendation that I’m engaged with the film.

Oh yeah, some of the violence was... truly gruesome. I am a big fan of viewing stuff through my fingers. This does not detract from my enjoyment.

Yes, time just flew by in the best possible way. And I really want to watch it again, so catch all the stuff I missed/wasn't aware of the first time.

My cousin has recommended Violent Night. We will have to check it out!

I think I liked Glass Onion more, but that might be because of how perfectly timed it is wrt Elon Musk...

So much fun. Santa is a true delight. Enjoy!
