I hated my nickname, Missy. It's an OK name for other people, but for me, it's a poodle's name. I like it fine if it's someone else's name, but I stopped people calling me that about 40 years ago.

When my icky brother wanted to wind me up, he'd call me that, and this was after I was grown and made it PLAIN that I hated the name.
