Yeah, I can imagine the Powers That Be are desperate for a steady captain. It's a flagship show, and the fans are... not happy. Of course the fans are never happy but they are a lot more UNHAPPY than normal. (not surprisingly.)
Fingers crossed. (I'm hoping for Lydia West.) Mmmm. And she's been in two RTD shows. Hmmm. Is she quirky enough? I have only seen her in Dracula (where she was great) but don't know anything about her personally. Jodie was such great casting because she is completely bonkers IRL.

Is she quirky enough? I have only seen her in Dracula (where she was great) but don't know anything about her personally. Jodie was such great casting because she is completely bonkers IRL.
Lydia's IG seems promising when it comes to quirky but not sure. Jodie IS wonderfully bonkers in real life but they haven't allowed much of that to actually come through on screen, that's the issue. The 13th Doctor is a very safe kind of 'quirky'. ://
