There's grumbling and then there's a large number of people yelling "WTF IS THIS" very loudly. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I do wonder why they thought Chibnall's 'master plan' would go over well. I was positively disposed towards the master plan, but I remember it as being a five year plan, which apparently was never going to happen. Esp since in the first year NOTHING happened at all.
Lydia's IG seems promising when it comes to quirky but not sure. Jodie IS wonderfully bonkers in real life but they haven't allowed much of that to actually come through on screen, that's the issue. The 13th Doctor is a very safe kind of 'quirky'. :// Yeah, it's such a missed opportunity. :(
