LOL. I do keep forgetting that we still have another season and change of Chibbs to go and . . . *sigh* Even the weak-sauce excitement I was trying to muster over serialized Doctor Who has all fled. Only Sacha Dhawan can get me through.
Hopefully Rusty can get working now so we're not waiting much longer after Chibb's specials are over. The interminable gaps between seasons are hurting as much as the writing.
The miniest of mini. Ok, so something is finally happening.
British tv is wild to me with its not giving out air dates until the last minute. What's the shortest advance warning you think they can give? Because if they do air this thing weekly, again, there's really not much time left in the year.
Why not? I like potatoes. With butter and cream? Yes. With Chibnall's flair for an uninspired turn of phrase and leaden exposition? I can't even imagine the black hole of boredom that would result.
How is that going? I'm through Fugitive of the Judoon. Was intending to provide commentary before I realized there just wasn't any commentary to be provided. I maintain my original impressions that it is all . . . pretty ok. Like, it is solidly enjoyable as you're watching it. I just immediately forget it all and lose all desire to continue once I stop.

It feels like (I have a feeling I've said this before?) that it's AU? Like, Thirteen is a Doctor from somewhere in the multiverse, but not really THE Doctor. Now and again there are little flashes, but mostly it's mildly entertaining, I'm just not particularly engaged.
Also I deeply dislike the whole 'Talking directly to the audience' in all this new promo stuff. Hope the 8 year olds enjoy it, but it takes me OUT of the story.

Might give another stab at actually watching the last season again . . . considered starting last night and then just didn't.
