Feeling thoughtful today. It's a beautiful day - it's properly spring-like, the sun is shining, cherry trees blossoming, everything sprouting.
We are of course immensely privileged in that we have a house and a garden, that we are healthy and my job is secure. But I am with Martha right now. It feels strange that there is a catastrophe unfolding. Everything is peaceful.
It makes me think of this:

A pivotal moment in history - although not a moment really, more like an endless number of moments, every day bringing another change. What will the world look like at the end? Will we have implemented Universal Basic Income and gotten rid of billionaires? Will we use the breathing space we gave the environment to change things for good? Will the world be as devastated as after The Spanish Flu?
Just remember:
THE DOCTOR: The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. Hey. The good things don't always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don't necessarily spoil the good things or make them unimportant.
