(I have a tendency to do meta in sections, focussing on just one aspect of something at a time. [Because otherwise I end up with 10,000 word essays...] Power is only one layer - although probably the main one for Lindsey - but not the whole story, far from it.)

Summary: Cause River totally did have either poison on her lips that one time. Literalness FTW!

Two things of awesome:

Essay:
Meta: The story cracks from side to side (and probably should) by beer_good_foamy. A post about cracks. Not crackfic, but... cracks. That bit where a story made up of several different stories doesn't quite fit together seamlessly, and how that's not necessarily a bad thing. (Spoilers for all aired episodes of Doctor Who, Buffy, Angel and Game of Thrones (the TV series).)

Absolutely brilliant, and one of those posts that made me go 'Of course - why has no one said this before?'

It's a Doctor/River vid to Abigail's Song, and it's perfect. (Like I knew it would be - I mean, has anyone seen my header? Made for me by artemisofephesus btw, in case I never mentioned it.) But the mirrors. Oh the mirrors... *happy sigh*

(I am currently trying to sort out the children's bedroom. I might requite something stronger than tea very soon... *drags self away from computer*)
