First of all some birthday greetings - I've been seriously slow! Sorry!

So, wishing a

Happy Belated Birthday

to thalia_seawood and copykween! Hope you both had fabulous, fabulous days! *squishes*

And then Happy Birthday today to fenchurche! I'm sure you'll be spoiled rotten! :)

Today is also Impish Girl's brithday (she's 6 now!!! Six! Where did time go?)! We had her party on Sunday (it was a Jungle Party. The fact that we had not mowed the lawn for a month *really* helped! *g*) and it went very well. Today m-i-l has again outdone herself in being brilliant and will pick up the girls from school, and then we'll all go round there when Darcy finishes work. So a nice easy day!

Oh and then when I thought that life couldn't get any better, I find out that James Marsters is going to guest star on Torchwood!!!!! I'm not sure that one has really sunk in yet... I mean, John Barrowman and James Marsters on screen together? *head implodes*

Incidentally, someone ought to write a s8!Buffy & Riley reunion fic, wherein they compare gadets and discuss the burden of leadership and the tactical merits of different types of group formation when planning a large attack (or whatever military leader types talk about... helicopter capacity? Mystics getting stuff wrong?). beer_good_foamy this might be just your kinda thing... *whistles innocently and pushes plotbunny towards you*
