How to put a banner up - and some other stuff.

As per usual I feel I must share, so here's the link to the tutorial that's responsible for my pretty:

(If you've tried it before and it didn't work, it now has extra bits of coding to stop LJ from eating the banner)
I solemnly declare that if I can do it, so can anyone. I am a HTML moron! All you need is to read it carefully, click a few buttons, do a bit of copy and paste, add the URL for the banner and its height in pixels - and that's pretty much it!


Hmm, I feel like I ought to say something, but can't think of much... oh I tidied the children's bedroom yesterday and it is now *thisclose* to being perfectly tidy. Also half term proved good for the house overall, making me able to sort stuff out that's been left for months.

On the writing front, the post on the alley scene has been eating my brain, so that's what I'm concentrating on. Also all the plotbunnies have left.

Completely unrelated to anything, here's a link to Hugh Laurie being very patriotic and playing the piano. But not about Britain... ;) YouTube is a fabulous thing indeed! And very addictive...

And since this meme has invaded half my flist...
