I love Hepworth! Her garden in St Ives is one of my favourite places in the world. I did know about the triplets, because there's a little bit in the entrance to the garden with life-information and photos about her and the kids feature. (I hadn't realised she sent them away for a bit, though, and the 'open marriage' situation is not made particularly clear there iirc...)

Yay your (and Laura's) fic also! I have it open in a tab, ready to ready. However I have FINALLY worked out how to do the Sound of Music chapter, so am going to get a draft together before I reward myself with more fic. It's verrrry tempting, just sitting there.

St Ives is LOVELY, highly recommended as a place to visit. It is nicest a bit out of season though as in the height of the season it is very very very busy. April/May and Sept/Oct are good :)

It's funny, because it's the first thing I ever wrote, the thing that spurred me onto writing the thing in the first place. And it's been simply impossible.

Me, I'm not so interested in the gender of the artist, but the quality of the artwork... and by and large, many of them are into more decently dressed artwork, which I personally as a man devoted to modesty, find most refreshing.

Re. the gender, then male artists are on the whole massively over-represented, so it's nice to shine a light on artists who are not as well known. :)

Not really that relevant about the genders of the artists and what they produce as a given, but it does tend to happen that way.
As for me, I want *modesty*, and thus immodesty is disgusting; whereas your pictures you depict are mostly far more modest in nature, and I, for one, find that refreshing.

And boy am I glad for that fondness for modesty, as I find it most refreshing to behold... I too hate nudity, and see it as a sign of loyalty towards immorality, as well as betrayal of neighbor, and perhaps even attempts at a form of psychological sexual assault, if taking it as far as it can be taken as a logic exercise; which's yet another reason I hate it- immodesty in dress/nudity/that kind of impurity, that is what I hate.
Your works I find most refreshingly decent, which's why I am rendering praise to ye for those selections.

Good, nor do I, nor do I ever ban anyone- I don't believe that's a functional reply to disagreements of any kind, you see; especially if said person's begun to stalk me, then I *want* to hear from them, so they can be fended off easier... it's the adversary you don't know about that's going to get ye, or that's the principle.
Especially apply the ideas of Sun Tzu in terms of internet security and you'll be far stronger still than usual in that regard, that's why you always want to listen, and speak only when you must.
As far as this goes; good; that'll be helpful in the extreme.

May well be true, as it is, it's more the *people* than the *site* that is the matter in question as far as if its remotely civil; I've seen too much uncivil conduct by people on LJ, simply banning someone for disagreeing with ye is completely uncivil and cannot be permitted as it goes- it reveals a critical flaw in the character of the person who bans another for any reason, simply doing so requires that the person whosoever bans anyone be stalked as penalty in fact.

Good for you about having a job; I'm happy for you about that, and I do understand about being tired and being behind in things. I'd say focus on what matters as primary, and almost nothing else, and pretty soon you'll be doing everything you'd want to do, and more still.
