I have, but it’s too late now. Dev and F.F. cover me just fine and really, the last thing I need right now, with my schedule and state of mind, is one more website to obsessively compulsively check every day, trust me. It's never too late!! Not that I want to stress you. :) (However, AO3 is for fans by fans, as you presumably know, and thus won't be bought by Yahoo who ruin everything they touch, not will Putin be spying on you... And it sends you notifications, so you wouldn't need to check. The main issue would probably be uploading everything - you can import stuff, but even so it's a lengthy process. I thought I should probably lead by example and have so far made a list of all the fic I *haven't* so far added to AO3... /o\ I may have to do one a week or something, it seems Herculean.)
Heh, heh, heh, bloody classic tumblr! (pets it in an about-to-stab-you sort of way) Oh well, totally understandable. Besides it's rubbish for posting fic etc. I use it mainly for reblogging memes & gif sets. :)
Very amusing when I went to London two and a half years ago Thank you for the story! And interesting with the 'native, but unidentifiable'. Considering how... distinctive regional accents are.
Thank you for the story! And interesting with the 'native, but unidentifiable'. Considering how... distinctive regional accents are. It’s probably a result of very mixed input, and again, some input that isn’t really spoken in everyday life. If I do go to a specific region, it may well stabilise.
And congrats on your great English!! Thank you! (In which BasiliskRules tells the Critical Period Hypothesis and the like to stuff it, proceeds to learn by heart three Hamlet monologues for fun, and disgusts the entire family by deliberately speaking in Heightened RP, and arguing about the intelligibility of the “cowboy accent” they prefer) RP end of Estuary! One day you will be mine!
