Nope, it wasn't a bad dream. Country still fucked

Oh and 2tn wiped off the markets.

(I should get off the internet, I'll just get angrier & more depressed...)

EU Referendum: #NotInMyName trends as country wakes up to Brexit (3 million of us who couldn't vote. THAT WOULD HAVE SWUNG THE VOTE. Not to mention the young people. Both my 14 and my 17 year old are MILES more informed than the average adult.)

Remember that time Nigel Farage said 52-48 votes should lead to second referendum?
(I think I hate Nigel Farage more than is entirely healthy...)

Oh, and these ones hit close to home...

And finally: 26 Brexit Tweets Guaranteed To Make You Laugh, Cry, Or Probably Both

ETA: Unlike Trump, Republicans Only Supported The Brexit After The Vote.

Despite making three posts about it, I find I'm having trouble finding anything to say. *shares misery*

I mean, even if things magically work out in some way and it's all fine, we've still inevitably made the recession worst. I'm here in the NE (I think a little way above you?) and the people are celebtratory and I'm just thinking you are the ones who are going to get stuffed above all others in this country because nothing has moved economically here since 2008. Which is why they were angry enough to smash things. Just, people, not those things.

Now it's done, we can only hope that it's a wake up call to improve things for an awful lot of people I suppose. We can try.
