My mum actually learn't more about housekeeping from her father. If some men spent more time doing house chores than avoiding it, then they wouldn't underestimate it.
Tell your husband to see it as a D.I.Y project. Ha! Then it'd be MONTHS.
(He's good at DIY, but he needs time.)
Even I find it overwhelming if I'm busy studying. I get so tired if I'm the only one in the household doing chores. Well I took time off over Easter, so now everything looks better.
My mum is very competent when it comes to organising things like housekeeping. Sometimes I feel like I'm underachieving. My mother has everything organised by day, right down to meals. I decided a long time ago that I can't be like that, nor do I want to...
A place for everything, and everything in its place is one motto my Retail teacher told me. Yeah, they never met my husband. Or any child, ever.
I want to learn a trade because I'm tired of waiting for a handyman to fix stuff around my rental home. Good thinking!
And re. posting on dreamwidth, then you should be able to set it to crosspost...
It's more easier to keep things organised at work than to maintain housework. The work load is lesser and you get paid for it. This, omg. Also, at work other people don't come and dump all their stuff over your desk...
I just want to learn about plumbing. The Department of housing already know about the leaking and yet continue to charge a higher water bill! My brother-in-law is a plumber. Although he's on the South Pole at the moment...
And if you need any help with Dreamwidth, just say. Although I remember it all being fairly straight-forward.
I remember working as a food prep/ kitchen hand in fast food and the most annoying part of the job was when the cashiers came to the back with the empty chicken trays and just dump them anywhere.
They didn't even bother to chuck the scraps in the bin. Like I don't have enough to clean up as it was.
I should just hire someone to deal with the plumbing.
Thanks. I'm going to look into Dreamwidth more when I go on a break from my course.
I just got an reply from LiveJournal Support to give them more details on my posting problem. I'm going to send them a picture.

I should just hire someone to deal with the plumbing. Good luck! And word of mouth is probably the best way to find someone decent.
Thanks. I'm going to look into Dreamwidth more when I go on a break from my course. It's sort of like LJ's younger sibling. I find it useful as a backup, but all my friends are on LJ...

I've been getting that vibe myself. I wanted to stick with LJ but given the circumstances I can't. Besides my beta, I'm not sure if anyone's reading my fic's in Dreamwidth. I do appreciate that I get feedback at all. Not that I want to pressure people...
I want to use my LJ account properly!. I miss it.:(

(I have a husband, who currently is working from home, but 'working' very rarely translates into 'housework'.

If men were left to fend for themselves they could pick it up. But some just can't hack it.

I want to learn a trade because I'm tired of waiting for a handyman to fix stuff around my rental home.
I still can not post any entries on my LJ account so I have made a Dreamwidth account to post fic's there.

At least it's working. I still don't know what caused it though.

Or maybe Frank the Goat.

It could happen again. It's just one of those things.
