My little bookworm! :)

Just got the children up. Impish Girl has snuggled on the sofa, watching Cbeebies. I call for her sister then see that Little Miss M is walking down the stairs very slowly and carefully carrying 4 very large books in her arms! Because she wants to read rather than watch TV!

Seriously, it's like watching myself in miniature!

I know. :) Although frustrating too, when I have to ask her to do stuff over and over because she's so absorbed!

Heeeeee!

I am and always have been just like that. When I'm absorbed in a book people can talk to me for over a minute before I even realise that there is someone in the room with me.

Very frustrating for them.

When I was a kid and my mother asked me to clean my room I used to do it with a book in my hand. I slowly gathered stary items while reading. Or, to make it sound like I was actually working I stomped in circles, still immersed in the book.

Hee! It all sounds very familiar.

Although it's been ages since I've read a proper book. What with children and everything, LJ and a little fanfic is all I have time for. Oh and writing takes up *far* too much time too!
