I'm beginning to feel like the most popular gal on the whole of LJ! Some kind person nominated 'Lost Soul' in the 'Shades of Grey Awards' for 'Best General/No Pairing' and 'Most Unique Plot'! Squeeeeeeee!



And I keep forgetting to mention my more-than-fabulous beta, kathyh without whom I would be very lost indeed! (Although lillianmorgan would no doubt step in as she has in the past!)

I love that icon. Are you 'allergic to slash' too? I see 'Lost Souls' was nominated in a Gen.Fic./no ship category. That makes you a member of an endangered species you know, there aren't many of us left. I enjoyed it very much BtW. Mind you, I like Illyria so wouldn't have wanted it to have happened that way on screen.

The icon is by vampirellabites if you feel like snagging! And I am pretty allergic to slash, oh yes! I've read the odd Spangel story (such as calove's take on that 'one time'), since it's canon and all that and I *adore* Spike&Angel, but the whole concept generally squicks me out. So I am extra thrilled to find someone else.

And thank you so much for reading and the feedback! It was pure joy to write, so I'm glad people enjoy it. The saving of Fred was almost accidental btw - a sort of 'oh yes, that could happen' - not in any way a comment on how things were done on the show. I love Illyria too! :)
