Thank you for the recs! Goodness, after weeks of stormy debate, it was rather refreshing to read a literary take on that issue…
(To be fair, it's also refreshing because it's arguing the British POV over the issue. In France marriage is automatically linked to access to adoption, and that's mostly what's been causing such a terrible mess. *sigh* It was good to be reminded that marriage is about LOVE.)

And I'm lucky that most of the time I *like* my job. I just don't like it quite as much as writing fic & meta & hanging out on LJ.
