Still snow. Oh and a prequel! :)
My garden really does resemble my icon. Except without the TARDIS and the reindeer. See below cut for evidence...

Also there is a PREQUEL to Bells of St John. See below second cut.
And - randomly - apparently it's Twitter's 7th anniversary. They made a video. Which - when set to the theme from Inception - makes it come across as if they're trying to destroy the world. (The Inception theme would probably have this effect on most things.) Still, if you're curious, go here.
Plus, allow me to recommend this Doctor/River vid: You Know My Name. (All Bond songs fit River!)

Only 144 episodes, what are you waiting for? *g*
I sooooo want to believe that—but really, you’re right, it’s just so big. Everything in s5 revolves around the cracks in the universe, it’s just not possible that we won’t find out who caused them and how…
Everything is connected.
Had to look up those two, minimal old!Who knowledge and all—but that would be pretty interesting to see… It needs to be huge, so that much fits.
*wishes fervently*
Well, one is always more demanding with what they really love. When something plain doesn’t convince you, it gets a bit hard to see the positive side of it… But indeed, it’s not like whining will magically change the canon material. XD
Indeed. Like I said, I'm generally a Pollyanna, but must admit that I really, really didn't like Torchwood: Miracle Day. RTD had this belief that Torchwood could be anything, but I think he was wrong. He got the format right initially (more or less), 'Children of Earth' broke the mold, but did it by transforming it into brilliance (even as it destroyed it). Miracle Day was just a step too far. Also it was just badly written, and trying to do too many things. Which was a shame.
Okay, then. Those two reviews made pretty clever points… And I 100% agree about it being bleak—the change worked for me, though.
It worked for most people, I just wasn't one of them. *g* Mind you, it shows how RTD was writing against his own instincts with Doctor Who, and you can see the struggle on screen, because everything gets more and more bleak as the show goes on... But mostly he kept it on the right side, and Ten was always compelling, so I'm not complaining. :)

Not like I also have 26 seasons of old!Who and a handful of other shows to pick from! ;)
Everything is connected.
*thrilled*
RTD had this belief that Torchwood could be anything, but I think he was wrong.
What could be /anything/? Of course it was his thing, he was proud of it and had ambition, but getting carried away is never good…

Ouch. Sounds like it.

Definitely. I like a bit of bleakness, personally, as long as he remains true to the spirit of the show…

^____^ Always the bright side. I like.

If only we didn't have lives. Or could do without sleep...

Oh you're going to love S6 of Buffy. Just saying. ;)
