Go Martha!

f_march_madness is FLYING by. It's like... I blink, and there's another post up. (That's probably because LIFE is rushing past.)

However, Martha has reached the final 4, and as it is Friday and THE WEEKEND OMG, I feel I should do something. So GO VOTE MARTHA! (She probably won't get another chance!)

Oh man! I can't pick between Martha and Joan! Martha is awesomsauce personified (she saved the world! And left the Doctor for her own good, but came back when he needed her!) but Joan is probably my favorite female character on TV right now. I heart her so much!

Grumble. Britta over Hermione was the easy one, but she's way behind. Joan and Martha are neck and neck. I'd honestly be OK with either Joan or Martha!

Well currently Joan is way ahead. *sadface* I'm sure Joan is lovely and all, but Martha Jones saved the world. Being a detective's sidekick/BFF just doesn't even register on the same scale...

You know, one of the things I love best about Joan is that she isn'tjust the sidekick. John Watson is, over on Sherlock, but Joan is the equal if not the head. I don't know if Elementary will be shown in your your part of the world but I think you'd like it! It's not as revolutionary as Sherlock, but it's really well done.

But Martha! I love her so!

I voted for Martha! I can't be sorry that Joan is doing doing well though, or honestly that Hermione or Britta is either. All great characters!

It's certainly cheering that it's been almost exclusively women this time round. Even Sweet Sixteen only had ONE male contender...
