It's a beautiful day...

The sun is shining, and it's almost spring-time-y. Spurred on by this I've done a fair bit of spring cleaning the house, and also brightened my layout considerably, using the new promo image as my header. (Spoilers for 7B if you follow the link.) ETA: ADORABLE web comic here.

Am now going to do a bit of writing (if I can get it to behave!) and then try to catch up with comments... This week has been far too busy. It didn't help that our boiler decided to play up, and left us without heating & hot water for three days. (We are very lucky that younger b-i-l is a plumber, but it's still costing us £200 to play for the new parts.)

I am sure that there was something else I was going to say, but it'll have to wait.

I like the bright colors in the new layout. Makes me think of daffodils! And the new header is such a cute picture. it's cut off for me at the top though not sure if that's intentional. I don't see Clara/Oswin's head!

She doesn't have the nav bar activated, so the tops of her banners are always chopped off!

It is UGLY. (The nav bar, I mean.) And I've never missed it.

I kind of like the nav bar; or rather I find it helpful enough not to care that it's there. I make it clear though!

I like my layout uncluttered. If I could customise the colours, I might consider it, but so far it's a no. :)

*shrug* I find it inoffensive. Though Dreamwidth's is a lot more useful. I like having it on throughout the site, though, so I know where I am.

That would help. I'd hazard that the majority of people who view your page are seeing your banners cut off.

It's got options for reloading the page you're viewing in the site scheme or your layout or light style. And you can make it match your layout ; )
