It's a beautiful day...
The sun is shining, and it's almost spring-time-y. Spurred on by this I've done a fair bit of spring cleaning the house, and also brightened my layout considerably, using the new promo image as my header. (Spoilers for 7B if you follow the link.) ETA: ADORABLE web comic here.
Am now going to do a bit of writing (if I can get it to behave!) and then try to catch up with comments... This week has been far too busy. It didn't help that our boiler decided to play up, and left us without heating & hot water for three days. (We are very lucky that younger b-i-l is a plumber, but it's still costing us £200 to play for the new parts.)
I am sure that there was something else I was going to say, but it'll have to wait.

Not helped by how we've had fires previously, and the Governor's response was to hold something like.. a 10,000(?) person prayer session for rain

Yeah- oh, my mistake- that 10 or 30,000 person rally was for something else. His response to the wildfires was supposedly to have proclaimed an official 'day of prayer' for rain which... yeah. :| (Praying is fine and all, but he could've done a hell of a lot more than just praying considering that he's the Governor.) ....Then again- this is Rick Perry I'm talking about, and just ugh.

It's got options for reloading the page you're viewing in the site scheme or your layout or light style. And you can make it match your layout ; )

ETA: I don't think she's a TARDIS, but I do believe that she's probably some sort of sentient 'thing', probably Gallifreyan in origin, put into a human vessel (or vessels, rather).
