It popped up on my flist, and as I love the old place (despite everything) I couldn't resist.
Hope you're doing OK in all the cold and the snow. Meant to comment on your post yesterday, but life just seemed to pass me by (partly due to my head being full of cold...)
I like the post they link to on why Tumblr sucks. I'll admit, sometimes I'll want to keep up on something fannish where Tumblr seems to have the most activity and so I'll find, like, one or two Tumblr blogs that feature that and I'll subscribe to them in my RSS reader. And usually they completely take over my feeds and I am overwhelmed with these ridiculously repetitive gif posts and within a week I am sick of it and have to unsubscribe and then I don't have any source for that fandom and it is sad.
And all I can think is: how do people actually on Tumblr survive? What the hell do you do if you follow any volume of blogs whatsoever? I guess I am old.
I like the post they link to on why Tumblr sucks Yes I read that too!

Apparently it is from an infomercial. It was gonna come in handy sometime . . .
I do actually still subscribe to his blog because he's low-volume in terms of actual number of posts and thus easy to ignore when I want to. And I have a lot of "oh, I'd always wondered what X show was about" when he gets into different stuff. Apparently I wasn't playing attention when he finished AtS, though, so I can't fill you in.

(Now and again I think that I ought to go see what he thought of the end of AtS S5, but then I get overwhelmed with not caring...)

Don't worry about it. I'm pretty sure I can guess.
(Flailing. Feels. Nostalgic look back. Lots of personal history. Jawdrop at unexpected twist. Etc.)
