I'm sleepy. I shouldn't be here really - I have to go out and pick up Little Miss M in a short while. The baby is cute and lying in my lap.

Icons are funny things... spikeylover made fandom wank yesterday, due to taking offense at one. (It used a cap from the AR and said 'Spuffy. OTP my ass'). And it wasn't the mocking of Spuffy that was the issue (*obviously*), but the use of that particular scene, which can be very upsetting. You might not think this is a big issue, but if you feel like it you can have look and see them all kerfuffling off in the distance (we Spuffy shippers are all delusional. Hee). Not sure why I'm mentioning this, except my brain is too tired to think and I just felt like telling y'all how much I love you - you are all so sane and sensible and with a brilliant sense of humour! :)

And now I really *must* go... please weather stay nice and sunny, you know you want to!

trivializing something that serious by using it as shipper propaganda says alot about a person.

Oh, but on a lighter note, apparently spikeylover was banned from somewhere for using this icon... so Bangels are definitely crazier than us. ;)

Heeee! I love that mock!Bangel icon. Seriously, how could someone get banned for using that? Sigh. Folks is crazy sometimes. ;)

I get the big wank over the anti-Spuffy icon in the "Rape isn't funny" sense, but seriously. That aside, why the big fuss? It's not as if the Spike/Buffy relationship ended at Seeing Red-- it went on long afterwards, right up until the season finale. And if I'm remembering right... there were them 3 little words spoke by Buffy... something along the lines of an "I", "love" and "you". Something like that. So who cares about the big bad *lowers the lights and covers the children's ears* AR when they became so much more than that?

Argh. Wankity wank. Using the faulty logic that is Spike/Buffy = Seeing Red, I guess Buffy/Angel = Innocence. I mean, after all, the lowest point must therefore equate the entirity of the relationship. *rolls eyes*

(sidenote? 'Ship wars and kerfluffles on Thanksgiving! I love it! :D)
