I'm sleepy. I shouldn't be here really - I have to go out and pick up Little Miss M in a short while. The baby is cute and lying in my lap.

Icons are funny things... spikeylover made fandom wank yesterday, due to taking offense at one. (It used a cap from the AR and said 'Spuffy. OTP my ass'). And it wasn't the mocking of Spuffy that was the issue (*obviously*), but the use of that particular scene, which can be very upsetting. You might not think this is a big issue, but if you feel like it you can have look and see them all kerfuffling off in the distance (we Spuffy shippers are all delusional. Hee). Not sure why I'm mentioning this, except my brain is too tired to think and I just felt like telling y'all how much I love you - you are all so sane and sensible and with a brilliant sense of humour! :)

And now I really *must* go... please weather stay nice and sunny, you know you want to!

Whoever it was I'm with them, hoorah for chiples souless Spike causing trouble and making a mends the old fashioned way. Ooh I can feel a rant coming on about how the soul was a cop pout on the par of the writters on account of their only having one season left and no time to deal with it. Phew the urge seems to have passed but be vigilant it may come back and flank us.

I get the big wank over the anti-Spuffy icon in the "Rape isn't funny" sense, but seriously. That aside, why the big fuss? It's not as if the Spike/Buffy relationship ended at Seeing Red-- it went on long afterwards, right up until the season finale. And if I'm remembering right... there were them 3 little words spoke by Buffy... something along the lines of an "I", "love" and "you". Something like that. So who cares about the big bad *lowers the lights and covers the children's ears* AR when they became so much more than that?

Argh. Wankity wank. Using the faulty logic that is Spike/Buffy = Seeing Red, I guess Buffy/Angel = Innocence. I mean, after all, the lowest point must therefore equate the entirity of the relationship. *rolls eyes*

Well. Hmm. See...it's all about the intensity of sensation. Believe me, all those years when I had wee children, the very last damn thing I wanted to do was get smacked on the bum. Or touched in any sexual way ever. Hee! I wanted to be cuddled and allowed to sleep dear lord. So I'm with you on that one.

But these days I'm getting plenty of sleep, and am fairly revved up in bed. And in my experience, the more excited you are, the more you're eager for any and all physical sensations. It doesn't just hurt me, it intensifies the pleasure I'm feeling. As Mr. Posh well knows.

Oh my god...was that not completely insane? I was boggling at the stuff she was saying. Crazy doesn't even begin to cover it. It was actually starting to make me feel bad, because I think you're not far from the truth about a nervous breakdown. That level of vitriol is just not normal, even for a professional ranter like ginmar.

I got slightly involved in the comments on agilebrit's attack by Ginmar. Funnily enough ginmar never got around to calling me all sorts of 'insulting' things related to copulation!! I kept going back and checking! You know - with the e-mails being so irregular at the moment!

Funnily enough Agilebrit and I have very differing views on a lot of things, including what constitutes torture - but Ginmar was just something else. I suggested counselling - but failing that a straight-jacket would be cool - it would stop her getting at a keyboard!! The ensuing posts on the wank were good entertainment for an hour or two though.

That was the worst wank I've ever seen by far. Usually it's some troll just egging people on for the fun of it (which I've never understood WTF), but she was serious. She really thought she was being persecuted and that her life experiences somehow trumped...you know...sanity.

I had a look at her LJ and just reading her user info is frightening... and her LJ posts seem to be a sort of stream-of-conciousness thing. She had about 7 entries in one day - long ones. (And no LJ-cuts! Why??????)

Although there are plenty *freaky* people out there. The writer of the last comment on this thread f.ex. is practically foaming at the mouth... I'm very tempted to say something ('Gee, they told me it was crazy out here in the sticks, but you lady are something else!') but I don't think I should encourage her more...
