Just shoot me now...

It's Little Miss M's 7th birthday on Saturday. She'll be handing out invitations today which is very late, but we hope and pray that some can't come. She's inviting 14 children... which adding her and her sister makes 16 if they all come. ::bangs head repeatedly on table:: I'm glad that she's a popular little girl with many friends, but damn - where are we going to put them all? Our house really isn't all that large (semi-detached, 3 bedrooms). Thankfully Darcy is very good at organising these things, but he's very much a last-minute man which drives me up the wall. *sigh* Anyway - in case I seem to go missing this week, you will know why.

Happy Birthday Miss M! Hands Momma a large bottle of aspirin.

Aw - happy birthday to your daughter. If they're only seven, they can't be ::that:: big, right - so you could put them under the tables, in little drawers etc... :)

Happy Birthday to Little Miss M and...um...best of luck to you. I'm sure Darcy will come up with something!

Have fun - enjoy it - the kids will, even if they DO all come!

Kids' parties!

:trembles in remembered terror:

Holy frelling hell! We let the girls invite four kids, the end. We learned that from the time we invited 8 kids and they all came.
Gah! That was enough to harden our hearts, no matter how many little friends they want.

Now I want to come to your party, just to watch. :0D

Just make sure there's plenty of ice cream and you have some games planned, and you'll survive.

It's a good thing you don't have an infant to deal with in the midst of all this. Oh, wait...

Hee! Spoken like a true birthday party veteran. I've started having all of ours at various party places - not as much fun maybe, but no clean-up! Make sure to order enough cake to have left-overs. ;-)

Lucky you! I occasionally make the cake - I once made a pretty cool Spongebob Squarepants cake. ;-)

Been there. And November - you can't just throw them all out into the garden.

Lots of traditional party games - hard work to plan, but it restricts the time available for mayhem!
Good luck.

Darcy is a brick. Encourage his part game talents.

(and hee! Icon!)

Glad you like it. The background really is our (newly done in January) kitchen. What other accessory could a girl want?

Happy Birthday to Little Miss M, and best of luck to you and Darcy! :)

Hee, good luck my dear!
